Nut Free Hemp Butter

Versatile, deliciousness is the best way to describe this recipe!
You can smack it on anything; banana bread (as pictured), pancakes, celery, cookies, smoothies, dates... basically anything.

It adds a beautiful nutty flavour to your dish... but, with out the nuts. Our hemp butter is complete nut free and takes 15 minutes to make. 

 Ingredients

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds 
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tsp sea salt 
  • 1 cup Hemp Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup Hemp Oil 

Instructions

Roast sunflower and pumpkin seeds for 10 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees. Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high for 3 minutes, stopping every now and then to scrape down the sides. Once smooth, empty into a jar and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

 

Kids Snack: Ants on a log!

Celery and hemp butter
Need a simple, school yard friendly snack for the lunch box? We have you covered with our 'ants on a log'!

All you need is:
- Hemp Butter 
- Celery 
- Saltana's 

Simply cut the celery into 8cm lengths and spread some hemp butter inside. Finally place some ants (saltana's) on the log, voila!
